Now that I officially have more wood than any poky Tyro should possess - I am beginning to have difficulties with wood storage.
The sides that I stored on end are taking an annoying bend and I had a problem with stickers between my back and soundboards. I assume a slight bend in my bindings won't matter in the long run - but would you be concerned about a slight twist in ebony strips?
What do other people do?

Bindings, purflings, and linings I store flat in a long drawer built into my bench. Tops, backs, sides and finger boards I store flat and stickered.

I too am running out of room. Who knew storing wood would require so much real estate?

I bought a couple of chrome plated racks with shelves at Sam's Club for $75 each a while back -- the sort you see in restaurant walk-in coolers. I use one to store uncut wood in an ambient environment, and I use the other to store cut and stickered wood in a humidity controlled environment.

For storing binding and purfling, I went down to my local hardware store and bought a couple dozen feet of 1" diameter PVC tubing, then cut the tubing into ~ 30" lengths, and then filled it up with purfling and binding strips. Right now, I just have the tubing shoved under one of my work benches, but I plan to build a little rack that I can suspend from my shop ceiling, and I will locate all the PVC tubes up there in the rack.

I store my bindings in tubes.

I store the rest of my wood including neck blanks and fingerboards etc, stickered in a humidity controlled enviroment
